Is milling on a lathe possible? I decided to convince myself and convert my lathe into a milling machine. Installation of the attachment does not take more than a few minutes, so quite short. I can mill keyways, make longitudinal holes, or mill small areas. I think that for a hobbyist it can be a good solution, but if you want to mill frequently, buying a milling machine will be a better option. The vibration turned out to be a problem in my lathe. If I had a lathe that weighed a ton or more, it wouldn't be noticeable. In general, I think the experiment was successful and I will use this attachment from time to time. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
