Last week, Kanye West and Kid Cudi were spotted at the Tokyo studio of Takashi Murakami, the artist who designed the cover art for Kanye’s 2007 album 'Graduation.' Several G.O.O.D. Music associates shared photos of the encounter using the hashtag #EverybodyWins and teasing a December 31 release date, prompting speculation that the two rappers were working on new music together.
The two rappers have been collaborating for nearly a decade, starting with ‘Ye’s groundbreaking 2008 album '808’s & Heartbreak.' Cudi has appeared on every Kanye West album since, and Kanye was also featured on Cudi’s first two albums. The Cleveland rapper left G.O.O.D. Music in 2013 and distanced himself from Kanye for several years before reuniting with his former mentor in 2016.
